still searching for that elusive water with big hybrids any help?in nrtern ireland but cover cavan and lietrim

fish ballinamore county leitrim, bolagnade or lake awaddy, castlefore lake, or the river system. hope this helps ..

Talking awaddy

looked at this one looks the buis,but can,t get car down too low,fished castlefore for 3 days.just couldn,t seem to keep them on the feed,they would go mad for about an hr and a half then shut up shop,where-bouts on castlefore would you suggest

hi les, if your coming from ballinamore fish the first two pegs about 20 yds out into 35ft of water this seems to throw up a few fish, carry on that road and you come to ballinamore river this fishes well and can throw up some nice pike. think i will give it a go over the xmas holls for the pike, hope this helps dougie....

I used to fish alot of matches when i was a member of east belfast cac and newferry was alway full of big hybrids

the best hybreds and biggest are in acton lake pontyzpass bream-roach roach-rudd rudd bream has many speciem fish well known for them.

try ballybay a lake called drumaloana good hybrids up to 6lb. my best one was 6 and a half pound good tench as well

Unhappy ballybay

sorry YoYo it,s too late for it to do any damage the fn,s have been and gone ,i was there a while ago and they had a fire going in the car park it looked like a war Zone ,rubbish all over there,s even a barrier at the top of the lane the local boat owners put up to stop the theft of their boats ,it was a great spot too .
