It is a problem we are all having due to poaching and littering. No disrepect but it will be hard to get info unless someone has fished with you. Have a look on the DCAL site for Pike fisheries is the best bet until you get to know people who will give details of private waters.

Theres a lake on the downpatrick road. I've fished there for years however the last time I was there the farmer wasnt happy as some1 had left his gate open and it had caused an accident. He didn't kick us off, he said he understood that people like to fish and wouldn't dream of kicking us off. There had been a bunch of foreign nationals down drinking the week beforehand and littered the place with vodka bottles and tins tho. It's been a few months since I was last there so I'm not sure if he's changed his mind. The lake contains 20lb pike. My best has been 18lb out of it

My post won't effect them in anyway. They live in ballynahinch and have been going there for the last 5 years or more. The farmer kicks them off each time and they still return

It's been 3 years since my 18lb one. I have had many jack pike there but have certainly been put off by the other visitors
