| Banks Pond is situated in the hills surrounding Old Hutton, near Kendal. Take the B6254 at the traffic lights on the A6, south of Kendal, and go through Oxenholme and Old Hutton Village. Continue under the M6 motorway bridge and take the rough track through the metal gate on the left of the road after you have passed another tarn on the right hand side of the road.
Go up the hill and follow the fence around to the right. The fishery car park is situated in the corner of the field. |

| Banks Pond is approximately 15 years old and has matured very well. The area has been planted with trees and the bankside vegetation gives good cover for anglers and fish alike. 18 levelled pegs are available with the deepest water of about 5' towards the small island.
The water has been stocked with carp, chub, roach perch, gudgeon, tench and eels. |
